Biography

Michael trained and qualified with a Manchester based firm of National Chartered Surveyors and was employed there for 20 years when he was head of Industrial Agency and Development of the North of England. In 2004 Michael, along with three other partners, formed WHR Property Consultants to give clients a bespoke personal service for some of the biggest industrial deals and developments in the North West of England.

His philosophy is partnering with a client to fully understand all of the issues involved in a property transaction. It is a very much cradle to grave involvement and he likes to be involved from the inception of the property matter, all the way through to its final completion involving issues such as legals, planning, highways etc.

Michael has established, over his 30 years dealing with property matters in the North West, extremely strong relationships with North West Plc’s, property developers, property companies, high net worth individuals and national institutional funds.

In his spare time, Michael likes all things sporting including following his son’s rugby, supporting Manchester United, walking and has recently taking up cycling.
