Final Occupier Secured at Thames Trading Estate

Rental Levels Increase from £4.50 per sq ft to £5.95 per sq ft

Manchester, 7th June 2017: Acting on behalf of London and Scottish Investments, WHR have successfully let the final vacant unit at Thames Trading Estate in Irlam.

Jack Weatherilt of WHR’s industrial agency team comments: “We are pleased that the Estate is now fully occupied having secured a local occupier for the remaining 1,500 sq ft terraced unit.  When London and Scottish Investments originally acquired the 18 unit Estate as part of a large portfolio, 13 of the units were vacant.  Following a comprehensive refurbishment in 2015, we were not only able to attract new occupiers but also able to push the headline rental to £5.95 per sq. ft.”

James Peeling of WHR acted as Building Surveyor throughout the refurbishment project. His advice allowed the creation of a modern, secure and welcoming estate, providing functional facilities over the previously dilapidated buildings, spalling concrete yard and the flooding drainage system.
