WHR SECURES ALTERNATIVE INVESTMENT COMPANY AT 196 DEANSGATE
18th September, 2014
Adimus Takes 2,500 sq ft Office Suite at Manchester City Centre Building
Acting on behalf of Commercial Estates Group, WHR Property Consultants has secured a new tenant at 196 Deansgate in Manchester city centre. Adimus Limited, the UK’s leading alternative investment company, has relocated from Quay House taking a 2,500 sq ft suite on the top floor of the five storey building having agreed a five year lease. Quoting rental levels for the building are at £17 per sq ft.
196 Deansgate was acquired by Commercial Estates Group in 2010 and is now home to a number of new occupiers including City Press, Madhouse, Pharmacy Support and A2A Engineering. CEG plans to refurbish the first and second floors of the building to provide a further 18,000 sq ft of high quality office accommodation.
James Preston of WHR comments: “Demand for good quality office accommodation is continuing to rise at a steady pace and availability of existing stock is rapidly diminishing. The quality of the product on offer at 196 Deansgate in conjunction with the Deansgate and Spinningfields location is proving popular with occupiers and we anticipate strong interest in the remaining space.”
Edwards & Co is the joint letting agent. Adimus was unrepresented in the deal.
