A 184,000 sq ft Unit Sold and a 51,400 sq ft Unit Let

WHR Property Consultants has completed two significant industrial deals in Trafford Park following the disposal of two units totaling more than 235,000 sq ft on behalf of Regatta Plc. The leading independent property practice sold Parkway, Alba Way – an 184,000 sq ft warehouse to AK Worthington who acquired the building to accommodate a new contract.

In a separate deal, WHR has also let Regatta’s former 51,400 sq ft warehouse – Everest, Barton Dock Road – having agreed a 10 year lease with Bathroom Takeaway.

Gary Chapman of WHR comments: “Trafford Park remains the most sought after industrial destination in the North West, where existing stock is rapidly diminishing and rentals / prices are beginning to increase. We currently have two active requirements for industrial units in the range of 150,000 – 250,000 sq ft but at present there is no modern existing stock to satisfy this demand. It is for this reason that developers are looking at building on a speculative basis again.”

WHR was the sole agent on both buildings.
